Ashley Botten Design is seeking an Office + Marketing Producer to join our Toronto-based team. The Office + Marketing Producer works closely with and supports the creative director and marketing team.
The ideal candidate is an extremely organized and self motivated individual interested in developing their career and growing along with the studio.
Responsibilities include:
Assist Creative Director in completing administrative tasks
Plan, schedule and attend weekly design and marketing meetings
Liaison between office and marketing teams
Assist marketing team with data collection + preparing digital marketing material
Answer and direct phone calls to staff / clients
Front desk - greet clients, vendors, visitors at door
Shipping and receiving, booking of couriers
Check all packages and distribute
Organization, filing and maintain sample library
Maintain office supplies and inventory
Fulfillment of abd shop orders
Correspondence with fabricators and vendors
Maintain updated product information for team
Perform other general office duties as assigned by creative director
Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position
• Excellent time management + problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Able to prioritize + effectively manage time + schedules
• Good communication skills + a professional attitude with clients + team members
• Strong knowledge of microsoft office: excel, powerpoint, word, teams, etc.
• Fluent in english (verbal & written)

Ashley Botten Design is seeking an experienced Junior Designer to join our Toronto-based team. The ideal candidate is a creative, self-motivated and meticulous individual who is a team player, capable of playing a supporting role in high-end residential design projects.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively and support the design from start to completion, staying on schedule. They will also be interested in developing their skills and growing along with the studio.
Responsibilities include:
Support Lead Designers on various projects, from creating budgets, to gathering quotes and specs, following up on project timelines. assisting with design concepts or presentations, and attending site visits
Support Senior Design Associates by creating design and construction document drawings in AutoCAD and/or Sketchup for assigned projects based on criterion established by the project lead
Coordinate across phases of furniture projects, including:
• Liaise with suppliers, vendors and trades, as well as clients as needed
• Organize samples and documents, filing in respective project bins/binders
Qualifications:
• Interior Design Degree (or related field of study) from a recognized institution
• Minimum 2 years working in a recognized Interior Design firm (Residential or Hospitality)
• Passion for Interior Design and detailed documentation
• Strong understanding of AutoCAD and Sketchup
• Ability to produce 2D renderings in Photoshop

Ashley Botten Design is seeking a Junior Industrial Designer to join our Toronto-based team. This is an opportunity to lead the design of the custom furniture and bespoke pieces portfolio at a studio specializing in high-end residential design projects.
The ideal candidate is a creative individual interested in developing their design skills and growing along with the studio.
Responsibilities include:
Work with the Creative Director to visually represent concepts for custom furniture and objects that will further establish ABD’s design language and expand the portfolio of furniture products for showroom as well as design projects.
Utilizing a combination of hand sketches, 3D models, and 3D Renderings, provide complete and accurate Technical Drawings for designs to effectively communicate concepts to the broader team
Develop comprehensive product specification packages that initiate prototyping and development processes
Leverage strong relationships with creators/fabricators to bring our visions to life.
Collaborate closely with marketing team and operations manager throughout the development and product launch process
Design support materials for products (assembly guides, specifications, FAQ's, etc.) to assist internal team and clients in understanding the products
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design (BID) or a similar field
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience at a design-led product company, or product development consultancy, ideally in the furniture space
• Strong passion for researching, and demonstrated experience in sketching, 3D modeling, rendering and prototyping
• Experience with furniture and interior products (or products of similar scale) and working knowledge of furniture related materials, processes, and manufacturing methods
• Impeccable design, color, and curation sensibilities
• Proven experience designing, developing, and ideally shipping exceptional products
• Superlative attention to every product detail (form, comfort, color, materiality, assembly, packaging, and more)
