Scale, scope and a reverence for its surroundings inform a brand new summer home. Intention grounds every element: accessories in wood and ceramic allude to the building’s minimalist components, custom furnishings soften and balance out precise angles. With the common thread of scale and proportions, oversized sofas and a 12-foot dining table allow for both private family time and buzzy late-night gatherings. Throughout, distinctive pieces – a porcelain sconce with an artisanal vibe and a custom kitchen table with inset lazy Susan – add originality without straying from the architects’ powerful vision.
