rebuilt to last
Reimagining a 19th-century interior for 21st-century living is all about renovation in balance with restoration. Breathtaking original elements – masterful detailing on the great room ceiling, a soaring stone fireplace, a one-of-a-kind stairway railing – were revived to underscore their authenticity. Replicated doors, baseboards, leaded-glass windows and more connect the space to its earliest beginnings, while thoughtful updates – sophisticated oak flooring and cabinetry, honed marble countertops, unlacquered brass fixtures and a subtle colour palette – ensure the space is most definitely designed for today.
