The Poppy coffee table is also available with an additional edge: a folded steel sheet that wraps around a portion of the table top and down one side. It adds a captivating layer of textural richness as well as a stain- and burn-resistant surface area for wet martinis and overflowing ashtrays.

With a slight lift from off the floor, Poppy has the appearance of a formalist box held in aerial suspension. Its narrow base is also practical, allowing a vacuum nose to clean around it without damage. Poppy is at its most sculptural when finished in an expressive wood. Or, grouped as a pair, especially when two Poppies are arranged side by side and placed just inches apart.
