Abd was inspired to design a sofa that exudes femininity in a way that works in harmony with heavier and more angular furnishings. Rohe’s round edges create a sense of divine comfort and a contemporary take to mid-century modernism. Its name derives from original abd sofa especially made for an executive suite inside Toronto’s TD Centre, designed Mies van der Rohe. It’s also a wordplay on The Row, one of Ashley’s favourite fashion labels that practically gave birth to the term “quiet luxury.”
